Advanced SolidWorks builds on the topics and techniques introduced in the basic to intermediate SolidWorks course and will prepare students to take the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) exam. Students will advance from simple shape modeling to fully parametric complex models while becoming a more efficient and effective designer for real-world design industries.

SolidWorks Essentials qualifies students for a certificate of achievement and prepares students to take the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam. Upon successful completion of the SolidWorks Essentials certificate, students will qualify for entry-level positions, such as 3D Printer Machine Operator, 3D Printer Assistant, SolidWorks Designer, 3D Modeling Specialist, Mechanical Designer, CAD Technician, CAD Drafter, and CAD Designer.

Short Term Intensive Training (STIT) funding pays up to 50% of training costs for multiple programs leading to high-demand careers. To apply for funding, complete the STIT application to determine your eligibility. Funding is based on Utah Residency. If approved you will receive instructions to register for the program you selected.
