Salt Lake Community College collaborates with the Salt Lake County Health Department and the Utah Highway Patrol Division of Public Safety to offer the necessary training for individuals seeking to obtain a new license or renewal to perform various vehicle inspections. These inspections included Applied Emissions, Light Duty Vehicle Inspection, and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection. Upon successfully completing the training program and attaining satisfactory scores, the respective agency will issue the license to the student.
