Assistant Professor

I believe that all students should have a positive experience in the classroom. As in the real world, leaders and mentors should truly know and love those they work with while balancing the objectives of the company. I strive to offer a similar environment where students are challenged, but build their self-confidence so when they leave my class they are more successful in all aspects of their life.

Tyson Riskas

Assistant Professor

After working in the business sector in marketing, upper level management, business ownership, and social media consulting I transitioned my career to business education in 2016. My teaching style is steeped in experiential learning. where you learn through experience and the application of business principles in your daily life. In other words you learn as you do. This pedagogical style helps students learn at a pace that is comfortable for them, more easily transitions into long term memory, and is immediately applicable and useful in daily life.
