For Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026, you must complete the 2025-2026 application. For Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027, you must complete the 2026-2027 application.

Students are encouraged to submit the FAFSA by the SLCC Priority Deadlines

• Fall Semester Priority – April 15*
• Spring Semester Priority – October 1*
• Summer Semester Priority – April 1*

*NOTE:

• The Priority Deadline is not a cutoff date for FAFSA submission, but instead gives students the priority to receive funds they are eligible for, which have limited funding.
• Students can still apply for federal aid after the Priority Deadline. Applications will still be processed.

FAFSA Completion Assistance

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is used by students to apply for federal financial aid. Our office offers different ways for you to get assistance completing your FAFSA.

SLCC FAFSA Specialists are available at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus to assist the community with one-on-one completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Walk-ins are welcome on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00AM-3:30PM.

When you come for FAFSA assistance, please bring:

• Your Social Security Number
• For 2024-2025 FAFSA: Your 2022 federal income tax return, W-2s and other income records
• For 2025-2026 FAFSA: Your 2023 federal income tax return, W-2s and other income records
• For 2026-2027 FAFSA: Your 2024 federal income tax return, W-2s and other income records
• Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
