Breaking New Ground
Honoring the ongoing partnership between Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah, Dr. Deneece G. Huftalin, President of Salt Lake Community College, Dr. Michael Good, Interim President of the University of Utah and members of the community officially broke ground on the Juniper Building at the Herriman Campus on July 15, 2021.
How it works: Together
Through our dynamic partnership, SLCC and the U of U will educate and train students to join the workforce in the burgeoning southwest quadrant of the Salt Lake Valley, providing critical support to growing businesses and industries in the area.
At the Juniper Building and across the Herriman Campus, students will ease into college life with a high-demand, two-year certificate or associate's degree from SLCC and wrap up their higher education journey with a bachelor's or graduate degree from the U of U - all in one place:
