SLCC Summer Bridge FAQ

The SLCC Summer Bridge Program is a unique opportunity to prepare you to be successful in college. It is a chance to get a head start towards your degree or certificate by learning about all the resources available to you at SLCC. It's also an opportunity to earn college credit (for free!) and get to know the campus and people who work here. And you'll be able to explore majors and career paths.

All incoming students starting their first semester at SLCC during the Summer 2024 term. First-generation, Undocumented, and asylum-seeking students are highly encouraged to apply.

There are many benefits to participating in the Summer Bridge program, including:

  • Free Summer tuition
  • Potential of continued financial support after Summer
  • Potential Stipend
  • Expand your college network
  • Get a jumpstart on your college success

The Summer Bridge program is 8-weeks long from June 10 – August 2

*Please note that if you are chosen to participate in the program, we will require you to attend all Summer Bridge activities and events. Therefore, we kindly request that you keep your schedule open from Monday to Thursday, 9am to 3pm, during the 8 weeks of the program.
