Students will need to wear long pants, closed toed shoes, and bring leather gloves. Safety glasses and tools will be furnished.

What You Will Learn

  • Apply skills, responsibilities, and characteristics of a skilled tradesman throughout program.
  • Identify various types of building materials and their uses.
  • Proper handling and storing of materials will be practiced.
  • Material quantities will be calculated using standard industry methods.
  • Common carpentry tools will be identified and used employing industry standard safety practices.
