Program Details

This two-week study abroad course situates THEA 1013: Survey of Theatre (AR) within London, one of the world's most influential theatrical capitals, using the city and surrounding areas as the classroom. Through site-based lectures, museum visits, theatre tours, guest workshops, and professional performance attendance, students examine the historical development of theatre from its ritual origins through contemporary practice, directly connecting course topics to the places where theatrical history was made and continues to evolve.
