Academic departments host required trainings in addition to the new CE Instructor training to address updates to the curriculum, changes in departmental policies, and other topics that are required for faculty to effectively teach the SLCC courses they are approved to teach. 

Liaisons are responsible for coordinating training for CE Instructors. This training might be asynchronous, a live event, or a hybrid presentation. It might be attenuated to a brief overview of content followed by intensive follow-up, or in-person workshops. Liaisons should coordinate with the CE Department to manage CE Instructor reimbursement based on the reimbursement formula defined by the CE Program.
