Upon completion students may be offered a full-time position by their host company.

The State of Utah was one of only seven states where more than 10% of the workforce was employed in advanced manufacturing.

This 3-year program provides students with a clear pathway from secondary education to full-time employment with career advancement through a three-year apprenticeship. The program engages students in their junior year of high school to begin progression toward a completed apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical production. Additional specialty tracks will be available to students and industry partners in the future, while the core content in advanced manufacturing remains the foundation of the degree.

If you are approved for funding, Utah Works will pay 100% of the cost of the tuition associated with the course.
