About the Student Senate

The SLCCSA student senate has a student senator who represents students within the 6 pathways: Arts, Communication & New Media, Humanities & Social Science, Health Sciences, Mathematics & Engineering, Business, and Applied Technology & Technical Specialties by gaining input, raising awareness, and initiating action on student concerns. 

The student senators meet Tuesdays from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the STC Senate Chambers. Meetings are open to SLCC students, faculty, and staff. Please reach out to Lilo Tuiono and copy Lola Moli to request time on the agenda. You can find our contact information below!

Purpose of the Student Senate

1. Actively seek out student issues and concerns
2. Effectively research issues and thoughtfully consider all possible solutions to problems
3. Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve the student's academic experience
