SLCC Opportunities Not Restricted by Residency Status

Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) offers several scholarships and programs that are open to all students regardless of Utah Residency status. These opportunities are designed to support students who may not qualify for federal aid or traditional in-state tuition benefits — while also allowing students to gain valuable experience and confidence.

The Utah legislature has passed several laws that affect access to higher education for a variety of immigrant populations. More information about these policies and how departments across SLCC are working to implement them to better support students can be found on Dream Center webpage.
